Hey! Thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I am Claire, and this is where I share about things I’m serving up at my dinner table, recipes I wrote, and why I have loved learning how to cook.

I meet so many people that hate cooking. And it really sucks to hear! I started my blog, primarily on instagram, to start sharing what I do in my kitchen every day. My goal in this was to show how easy and simple cooking is- it doesnt need to be complicated! Once you learn a few techniques, not only does the cooking happen easier and quicker, but it also gives you confidence to take on more, or try something different. And along the way… you also learn how one technique can apply to other recipes, and suddenly cooking becomes a lot easier to handle and execute. 

I hope you enjoy what I have to share here on my space. I’m really looking forward to publishing content here- whether its a recipe I wrote, or a project I’m trying out, or a new cookbook I’m reading, I hope my words and photos can inspire you to try something new, and find something to love about cooking. I currently live in Kansas City, Kansas, with my husband (and sus chef) Austin and our dog, Teddy, and cat, Olive. I grew up in St. Louis, lived in Iowa, and have roots in Georgia, and have vistied 35 states.
