Crispy chickpeas baked in the oven become the perfect crunchy snack or topping for salads!
Preheat oven to 425 degrees
Open and drain 2 cans of chickpeas. Dry well using a kitchen towel.
Add chickpeas to a rimmed sheet pan, along with 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Roast for 5 minutes.
Add salt and other spices to chickpeas and toss together. Roast for 15-20 minutes longer, shaking the pan or tossing the chickpeas every 5 minutes.
Remove from oven when crisp, and seasoned to your liking.
I season my chickpeas with salt and Tony Chachere's creole seasoning, which is so good on literally everything.
I also recommend trying garlic salt or ranch seasoning!
